When will the next Lieutenants Exam be given?

The last Lieutenant exam was given in March 2023.

The Lieutenants List was released in December 2023.

The Lieutenants List expires in four years, five years in an Emergency, so the list should expire in December 2027.

A promotional exam list usually takes at least six months to generate.

So, I expect a Sergeants exam to be given in June 2027, approximately six months before the current list expires.

I typically begin a course eight months before the exam, so I expect to begin a course in November 2026.

These dates are based on typical time frames and, of course, may change.

I, of course, will keep all my students up to date on any changes that might occur.

2/23/24 - Out of the second group of 75 promotions - 63 attended my 20-week course.
