Sergeant's Exam

When will the next Sergeant Exam be given?
The last Sergeants exam was given in August 2022.
The Sergeants List was released in May 2023.
The Sergeants List expires in four years, five years in an Emergency, so the list should expire in May 2027.
A promotional exam list usually takes at least six months to generate.
So, I expect a Sergeants exam to be given in November 2026, approximately six months before the current list expires.
I typically begin a course eight months before the exam, so I expect to begin a course in March 2026.
These dates are based on typical time frames and, of course, may change.
I, of course, will keep all my students up to date on any changes that might occur.

5/30/23 - Out of the first 50 Sergeants promotions (first class), 44 individuals attended my 20-week Sergeants Course, and 2 others attended my 8-Hour Crunch Time Cram.

6/30/23 - Out of the second 50 Sergeant promotions (second class), 47 individuals attended my 20-week Sergeant Course.

7/28/23 - Out of the third class - 85 Sergeant promotions, 77 individuals attended my 20-week Course

8/25/23 - Out of the fourth class - 85 Sergeant promotions, 79 individuals attended my 20-week Course, and 1 other attended my 8-Hour Crunch Time Cram.

9/29/23 - Out of the fifth class - 75 Sergeant promotions, 65 individuals attended my 20-week Course, and 4 others attended my 8-Hour Crunch Time Cram.

10/31/23 - Out of the sixth class - 25 Sergeant promotions, 21 individuals attended my 20-week Course.

11/21/23 - Out of the seventh class - 75 Sergeant promotions, 64 individuals attended my 20-week Course, and 3 others attended my 8-Hour Crunch Time Cram.

12/22/23 - Out of the eighth class - 75 Sergeant promotions, 68 individuals attended my 20-week Course.

2/23/24 - Out of the ninth class - 75 Sergeant promotions, 67 individuals attended my 20-week Course.

4/4/24 - Out of the tenth class - 125 Sergeant promotions, 109 individuals attended my 20-week Course, and 4 others attended my 8-Hour Crunch Time Cram.
